Call to check current availability. Dallas service eligibility is unverified for all ten categories below. Availability must be checked for your exact location. The provider, equipment, vehicle and permitted access must be confirmed for the particular request. For immediate danger, a fire or a medical emergency, call 911.
Confirm the storage location before arranging collection
Dallas Police's towed-vehicle information page provides 972-430-6200 and an official link to the vehicle search. It lists three destinations for city tows: Peak Auto Storage North Dallas, Peak Auto Storage South Dallas and Dallas Police Auto Pound. Confirm which facility has the vehicle instead of assuming it is at the police pound. Ask that facility about release, collection and current receiving arrangements before requesting an onward tow.

If you are on an NTTA toll road
The North Texas Tollway Authority directs motorists to #999 for its Roadside Safety Services. Identify the actual road and position so the request can be considered by the responsible system. This contact is scoped to NTTA roads. Tell any prospective provider if NTTA or law enforcement is already handling the incident and confirm the permitted pickup point. Rezcues access to a toll road or managed lane is not established by this page.

Prepare location and vehicle details
- The current address or road, direction and nearest known exit or intersection
- Whether the vehicle is at the original breakdown, a garage or a confirmed storage facility
- Any authority, site manager or other responder already involved
- Entrance, gate, floor, posted clearance and access contact where relevant
- Year, make, model, drivetrain, symptoms and any damage
- Whether the vehicle rolls, steers or brakes and whether keys are available
- Your callback number, intended destination and who can approve the work
You can begin with the information you have. Do not enter traffic or inspect damaged equipment to complete the list.
Ten service categories to discuss
Light-duty towing
Explain the car's condition and desired destination. Mention an electric drivetrain, all-wheel drive, low clearance or damage. Confirm suitable transport equipment and access. For collection after a city tow, give the verified facility and release arrangements; do not assume the three listed city-tow destinations are interchangeable pickup points.
Battery jump starts
Describe the no-start symptoms and any visible warning message. Identify the vehicle type and ask whether a jump-start assessment is suitable. Discuss what happens if the car still will not start. A successful start does not establish that the battery, charging system or another fault is fully resolved.
Flat tire assistance
Report the affected tire, whether a usable spare is present and whether a wheel-lock key is needed. Ask if a spare change can be considered at the current location. Repair, replacement tires and mobile fitting need separate confirmation. If the situation is unsuitable for a change, ask about transport.
Vehicle lockouts
Say whether the key is inside, lost or not recognized. Entry assistance may differ from replacement-key or programming work. Ask what proof of ownership or permission is needed for the vehicle. For a person trapped in immediate danger, call 911 before pursuing ordinary roadside entry help.
Emergency fuel
Give the correct fuel type if known and describe how the vehicle stopped. Ask whether delivery is appropriate for the location and what would happen if it fails to restart. Mention incorrect fueling, leakage or other damage. An emergency-fuel inquiry does not establish mobile charging for an EV.
Motorcycle towing
Describe the motorcycle's make, model and condition, including rolling ability and steering lock. Mention a sidecar, trike or modifications. Ask whether suitable loading and securing equipment can be supplied, then confirm pickup and destination access. Rider travel and storage require their own arrangements.
Winch-out
Explain where the vehicle is stuck, the surface, slope, damage and access route. Report water or other hazards from a safe position. A provider must assess equipment and the recovery before accepting the job. Ask whether any onward tow is included. No recovery technique or capacity is promised here.
EV towing
State the exact model, displayed warnings and remaining charge if known. Ask for transport aligned with the manufacturer's instructions. Confirm a charging site's suitability and access before choosing it as a destination. Mobile charging and high-voltage repair are unverified. Report collision damage, flooding, smoke or unusual heat.
Medium-duty towing
For a larger van or commercial vehicle, provide known dimensions, specifications and load information. Include any trailer, modifications or damage. Confirm equipment capacity, cargo restrictions, pickup permission and who can approve the job. No Dallas-specific weight range or vehicle capacity has been verified.
Motor Clubs, Insurance & Fleets
Identify the organization or benefit program, approving contact and required process before committing to work. Check whether existing assistance is already being arranged. Reimbursement, direct billing, purchase-order handling, fleet agreements and integrations require separate confirmation. Share only the information needed for the actual inquiry.
Questions to settle before the job
Which Dallas storage facility should I give a prospective provider?
Use the location confirmed through the official lookup or customer-service route. Ask that facility about collection requirements before arranging the trip.
Does calling #999 contact Rezcues?
No. It is NTTA's public roadside-assistance contact for its road system. For a Rezcues inquiry, use +1 406 501 6962 and describe any authority involvement.
Can help reach a restricted parking area?
Provide the entrance, clearance and authorized site contact. The provider and property must confirm equipment suitability and permission before acceptance.
What should an accepted request include?
Confirm the provider, agreed work, total quote and destination. Ask how additional work would be approved and whether a request-specific arrival estimate is available. A phone inquiry alone does not confirm a dispatch.
